I like this one because the graffiti looks like they all connect and are supposed to be there. I wouldve liked to take more pictures of the ground though to make the ground look straighter and take more pictures of the top.
Use more of the grid when shooting, the reason the "K" picture is not as succesful as the graffiti is the grid is not exaggerated enough.
ReplyDeleteI think your landscape Hockney picture was more successful than your portrait Hockney picture because I can see you put in more effort into it. The lighting of your landscape is very sharp; there are also some high and low key spots in the picture. All of the graffiti letters fit together which is what one tries to succeed in this type of art. The portrait picture could’ve been completed more. I feel that you could’ve used different colors to make the picture look as if there was more than one picture within that one photo that you are trying to put together. Using elements of color to make up your photo could help with this assignment
