I like this picture because its close up bright and vivid with color. I also like how the flower is red and everything else is green

Surrealism Photo

For this project I had a couple ideas and most of them I ended up not liking so instead I went with this instead. Its suppose to show someone being controlled because all he does is go out at night. So the quote on the hand says "Nights End So Much Quicker Than The Days Did" showing that hes out all night that it ends quickly for him and he can't wait for the day to end so the cycle can begin again. The person in the hands is being controlled but also is in a falling motion to show that he is falling into this lifestyle. I liked this project but found it hard to come up with ideas for this project.

Color Theory Photo Walk

For the first picture the green and the purple compliment themselves. Also The colors are bright and vivid making it stand out. For the second picture the white in the picture is brought out by the yellow. Also the green is dull enough to make the flower pop out.

Proposal

For my phot surrealism i want to have a picture of a sky and a building and me falling from the sky with other stuff falling and a quote from a song as my scanned object.

Neil Simone
Neil Simone was born in London on 1947. Neil studies in school were graphic art and design. During 1969 he went to Harrogate while working on the exhibition for the Multi Occupational training and education centre. He then later moved to Harrogate as an inspiration to his artwork. All of his artwork has the appearance of fact and fantasy fused into one.

Analysis: The picture is connected because “both” pictures make the piece
Interpretation: In my greatest interpretation Neil wanted the picture to look like he painted the autumn picture while he was in the snow but in actuality he painted one painting
Judgment: I believe Neil did a successful job with the illusion that there are two pictures when there’s only one and how he connected them so well.

Ben Goosens
Ben Goosens works for a ad agency in Belgium. Ben Goosens creates photo montages with a surrealistic touch to his work. Goosens has won gold and silver medals at the Trierenberg Super Circuit. Also has been published in the Photo Art International in 2007.

Description: This picture shows a man without a face and it is floating away like he’s missing a part of him like he’s missing his identity
Analysis: The main focal point is the man with no face but he’s not in the middle so the balloon face makes it more balanced

Interpretation: I think that Ben Gossens did a good job in showing that the man is faceless and is missing his identity by adding the clouds where his face should be and his face in the clouds.

Ithink this picture came out ok I wouldve liked to change the background so that certain parts of the "K" dosen't look different .

I like this one because the graffiti looks like they all connect and are supposed to be there. I wouldve liked to take more pictures of the ground though to make the ground look straighter and take more pictures of the top.

Partner Potraiture

This photo is of me opening a locker to find Chris Desh trapped inside. Sought of like he was hiding waiting for me to open the locker. I like it because Chris Desh's facial expression makes the picture even more interesting.

This picture is of me and mybig brother. I chose this picture because growing up I was always with my big brother and he's my best friend and has always been there for me. If Im doing a picture of my childhood I have to inclusde my big brother who has been by my side my whole life.

Photo Series

I love sports and art so I wanted them both to be connected. I enjoy art and is one of my favorite subjects so I wanted this picture to have a storyline. I had my brother pose he was throwing the ball to himself as a continued pattern. I like how the picture intermingles together to compose this storylike image.

1.       Jerry Ulesman

Jerry Ulesman is a great photographer. What I like most is how he uses multiple pictures and put them together to make a picture in itself.

2.       Robert Capa

I like Robert Capa photography because it’s mostly based around wars. It shows what truly happened during those times we weren’t a part of.

3.       Annie Leibovitz

I like Annie Leibovitz’s work because its portraits. I like the way she captures people and make them come alive through the camera.

4.       Cosmin Bumbut

I like Cosmin Bumbut’s photos because it makes you think. It makes you think but not to hard that you don’t get what the meaning of it. 

5.       Rachel Friedman

I like Rachel Friedman’s photos because there clear and sharp. Also Rachel Friedman is a great teacher and photographer.
